Casa Falcone B&B, a vacation destination among friends on the Amalfi Coast.
The Falcone family has a long history as pharmacists in this area of the Amalfi Coast. During the 1700s and 1800s, they cultivated herbs for medicinal use in the village of Borgo di Minuta.
More recently, for as long as family members can remember, the property served as their summer vacation destination. The terrace that overlooks Villa Cimbrone in Ravello was where they canned tomatoes and preserved artichokes, eggplant and tuna in oil. This is where the family enjoyed their afternoon snacks of bread and caciocavallo – and where the never-ending dinners took place with delicious plates of pasta alla colatura di alici.
The home has always been a place where friends were welcome and it continues to extend that welcome today.
“Our family wants to share the breathtaking vistas of the Paleo-Christian Basilica dell’Annunziata and of the monumental ruins of Sant’Eustacchio, along with the simple beauty of the fertile garden at the edge of the property. More than anything, we want you to feel at home, guests of the Falcone family and of the splendid community of Scala, one of the villages that still offers the good life, a distinctive feature of the region of Campania and of Italy.”
